Since 2007, Central Lakes Trust (CLT) has awarded Tertiary Education Scholarships annually to the five High Schools in its region; Wakatipu and Dunstan High Schools, Mount Aspiring and Cromwell Colleges and Roxburgh Area School.

Scholarships are for individuals wishing to commence their first year full-time tertiary, apprenticeship or vocational training. Each scholarship is to the value of $2,500.

The purpose of the Central Lakes Arts Support Scheme, known as CLASS, is to increase, at both a local and grass roots level, participation in the arts and the range and diversity of arts available to the community. The maximum amount that can be funded through this Scheme is $2,000 per organisation/group/project/event.
