Funding Clinics

Funding brings ideas to life

If your community group or charitable organisation has plans, ideas, or projects on the horizon, funding clinics are one of the easiest ways to find out what support is out there. Our funding clinics gather your local funders together so you can connect with the people who can guide you forward.

How it works:

Warm welcome and funder introductions
We kick things off with a quick welcome and a round of introductions from the funders in the room. Each funder shares who they are, the type of support they offer, and the areas they focus on.

Spotlight on the groups attending
We then take a moment to acknowledge the community groups and charitable organisations who’ve joined us. Each group is invited to briefly introduce themselves and share what they’re interested in exploring during the clinic. This helps set the scene and sparks great connections.

Chat and connect
After the introductions, the floor opens for relaxed, informal chats. This is your chance to move around the room, ask questions, talk through your ideas, and get direct guidance from the funders. It’s also an opportunity to connect with others in your community who are working on similar initiatives.

We encourage you to attend from the start so you can hear the full overview and get the most value from the session.

Funders attending vary by location and may include Central Lakes Trust, Otago Community Trust, Community Trust South, Queenstown Lakes District Council, Central Otago Districts Council, Otago Regional Council, Sport Central, 45South, Aotearoa Gaming Trust, and the Department of Internal Affairs.
