We’re incredibly grateful for your generous support of the Matariki Arrowtown Kā-Muriwai 2024 Festival. Thanks to your sponsorship, we were able to create an incredible, vibrant and memorable event that brought the community together in celebration of Matariki.

As someone who is relatively new to my role, it has been a privilege to learn more about your charitable trust, the communities you serve, and the areas of impact that matter most to you.

This morning, I read a message by a family from the Central Lakes region who recently stayed in our accommodation. I thought I would share their words with you as it was written with supporters, like you, in mind and captures how much your support is valued by families.

“Thank you so much for welcoming our family. We have truly appreciated being able to stay in such a lovely space while our girl was in neonatal. Truly such a gift! Thank you for everything you all do. Our community is so lucky to have you all.”

From all of us here at RMHC, thank you so very much for your continued support!

I would like to express a huge thank you to the Central Lakes Trust for your ongoing support towards the Southern Community Support Lead (CSL) salary and expenses. Sue is a qualified social worker who provides ongoing services and support that improves the quality of life for all those affected by the effects of Cystic Fibrosis throughout Central Otago. She works tirelessly to ensure that CF individuals receive the optimal care and treatment plans from medical specialists and caregivers/whanau receive the support they need.

Your contribution towards the expenses to provide this service is really appreciated.

Thank you so much for your generous funding throughout 2023, which enabled our recent event to happen our MINT Camp 2023. With your help we were able to provide a truly unforgettable 2-night adventure, creating an environment where memories were made, friendships were forged, and personal growth was nurtured.

The impact of this experience will extend far beyond the 2 nights spent at Camp Columba. Our campers have returned home with a renewed sense of confidence, a deeper understanding of themselves and others, and memories that will last a lifetime.

On behalf of the committee and Snow Sports New Zealand, we want to thank you for your incredible support at this year’s highly successful Snowsports NZ Adaptive Festival!

50 participants with a range of disabilities and on snow experience, along with their families and friends were able to have the opportunity to experience adaptive snow sports. It was amazing to see the progression of all involved. Without the support of Central Lakes Trust we wouldn’t have been able to host such a fantastic event

We are delighted you have been able to support us so generously, and receiving a multi-year grant is particularly welcome. The certainty of future funding until mid-2026 not only assists with programme planning and setting budgets but also reduces administration time required to write grant applications and accountability reports.

I wanted to thank you very much for the grant CLT provided to Food For Love Wanaka.

I have joined them as their Volunteer Coordinator . . . there's an overwhelming sense of wow - one cannot but be moved by the work they do. We have an amazing bunch of Volunteers, with so much passion for the organisation, and their work. Each meal is definitely made with love.

I'm very proud to be involved and thrilled that I get to use some of my skills and experiences to support the team.
