Michelle Morss appointed to Central Lakes Trust Board

Central Lakes Trust (CLT) is delighted to announce the appointment of Michelle Morss to its Board, effective 1 December 2026.
Michelle currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive of Queenstown Lakes District Council and recently completed an 18-month intern directorship with Pioneer Energy. Her combined governance and executive experience gives her a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the CLT funding region.

The appointment follows a robust, independently facilitated selection process that attracted an exceptionally strong field of candidates,” says Linda Robertson, CLT Chair. “We are delighted to welcome Michelle to CLT and we are confident she will bring valuable governance experience, strategic perspective, and regional insight to the Board."
Michelle will take up one of the Board's three appointed trustee positions following the completion of Linda Robertson's term at the end of November 2026. The incoming Chair will be announced at CLT’s Annual Public Meeting on 28 September 2026.
