Central Lakes Trust (CLT) is excited to announce an opportunity for a new Trustee to join its Board. This role offers a unique chance to support diverse communities within the Central Lakes region and oversee a significant investment portfolio.
Since its inception in 2000, CLT has been dedicated to supporting charitable organisations within the Central Lakes funding region. With over $146.6 million granted to date, CLT’s contributions average $9 million per annum, covering a wide range of areas including environment, heritage, community wellbeing, recreation, arts, culture, and lifelong learning.
The ideal candidate will have significant governance experience with specific skills and abilities relating to:
· understanding risks and opportunities associated with long term investment horizons
· evaluating capital investment proposals
· experience of, or knowledge in, the renewable and clean energy sectors
· understanding of emissions reporting in investment portfolios
· understanding the challenges and opportunities facing the Central Lakes Trust community.
