Trudi was elected to the board as a trustee in the November 2022 triennial elections.  Trudi has lived in Cromwell for over 20 years. Together with her husband, Simon, she owns and operates the family orchard, Webb’s Fruit.  The orchard has been in the family for over 100 years with Simon being the fourth-generation owner/operator.

With three busy school aged children and a locally owned business, Trudi is actively immersed in the community and horticulture sectors within the region.

Trudi also holds directorships within the horticultural industry including MG Marketing Ltd, NZ’s largest local wholesaler of fruit and vegetables, and Summerfruit NZ.  Having developed governance experience working in Director level roles, Trudi saw it as a great opportunity to stand for Central Lakes Trust and contribute to Central Lakes Trust vision of making our community a better place through enriching lives and supporting our community.  The Webb family have a long and strong history of being active and passionate within the Central Otago area.

Trudi is proud to be the third member of the Webb family to be involved in either the Central Otago Power Board or the successor, Central Lakes Trust.
